Frühere Veröffentlichungen waren nur Vinyl für Abonnenten und DJs. 
Technisch gesehen gehören DMC-Ausgaben vor 109 zur Serie 'The Commercial Collection'.
Aber diese Veröffentlichungen werden alternativ mit dem Titel "The Mixes" angegeben. 
Dieser Name von Release 132 bis 157 wird erneut verwendet.

DMC wurde gegründet und etablierte sich bald als größte DJ-Organisation der Welt 
mit Hauptsitz in Großbritannien, den USA und Niederlassungen in über 30 Ländern. 
DMC begrüßte die neue Generation der DJ- und Clubkultur und war das erste Unternehmen, 
das sich der Kunst des Remixens anschloss. 
Dadurch wurden DJs inspiriert auf der ganzen Welt Musikproduzenten zu werden.
